Primary Responsibilities Include: Developing and implementing HR strategies that support business objectives and foster a positive employee experience.
Providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on all HR matters, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant.
Managing complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
Overseeing talent acquisition, development, and performance management processes, ensuring the right people are in the right roles.
Managing the HR budget and resources effectively, including payroll budget preparation.
Maintaining compliance with UK employment law and Belmond's internal policies.
Overseeing the Office Manager & HR Coordinator, ensuring smooth office operations and team development.
Contributing to divisional HR projects and deputising for the Divisional Director of HR as needed.
Requirements What you bring: Essential: Experience: Proven experience managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, learning and development, and compensation and benefits.
Demonstrable experience successfully managing complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and absence management issues.
Experience of managing and developing a small team.
Experience of working within a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Skills: Exceptional Employee Relations Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Organisation and Planning: Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Problem-solving and Decision-making: Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgements and decisions.
UK Employment Law: Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Desirable: Qualifications: CIPD qualification or equivalent.
Experience: Experience working within the luxury travel or hospitality industry.
Skills: Experience of working with UK payroll legislation and payroll processing Experience of managing a HR Budget.
