LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT TEAM The Learning & Development team in HCM oversees learning and development initiatives and programming for the firm. We educate our people on our culture, develop new and experienced managers and leaders, build the skills for creating inclusive environments, orient new hires, help people design their career paths, and provide opportunities for technical skill development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Contribute to shaping the region's overall learning strategyBuild trusted relationships with HCM colleagues to understand and prioritize evolving development needs across businesses and regionsDesign, develop, and deliver strategic, innovative, and practical learning interventions and solutions that address business needs in a dynamic and rapidly changing environmentStay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of learning and development strategiesPartner with global and regional colleagues to design, deliver and measure impact of firmwide learning programs to ensure they offer the best solutions for stakeholdersServe as a core team member for a variety of initiatives and take a hands-on approach with project managementOversee and manage junior colleagues within the learning & development teamEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Minimum of 5-10 years of working experience, 3-5 years within a learning & development roleExperience working with and developing programming for high potential leaders and managersOrganizational psychology background desirableAbility to teach a variety of leadership topicsExcellent project management and execution skills; strong detail orientation; strong analytical skillsExperience in overseeing multifaceted initiatives and working on a global teamProblem solver with ability to diagnose problems and develop innovative approaches to deliver learning solutionsExcellent communication skills; experience in formal/informal presentation and facilitationDemonstrated ability to build relationshipsGroup facilitation and consultative skillsExperience and expertise designing learning offerings e.g. workshopsExcellent relationship-building skills and demonstrated client service focusAbility to function well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment that demands creativity, energy and excellenceStrong commercial orientation and good understanding of the firm's businessA strong growth mindset and consistent focus on self-improvementABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS At Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
