HSEQ Coordinator Part time, permanent role, hybrid working opportunity and based at ACE HQ The HSEQ Coordinator will report to the HSEQ Compliance Manager to maintain and continuously develop the company's strong health and safety, quality and environmental culture.
They will work with Heads of Departments, the Health and Safety Manager and be an active part of the HSEQ forum.

Aquatic Control Engineering design and manufacture water flow control products through their brand AQUIKO.
The role will be to ensure the maintenance of all external certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Achilles, Constructionline, Builders Profile etc) completing internal and external audits and site inspections.
This will include the responsibility for collating various forms of data for the management system in place.
Occasional travel to and from UK sites for HSEQ Site Inspections will be required.
Main Responsibilities Provide HSEQ coordination for all management systems procedure and policies in place Regular input and upkeep of the companies intranet drive Assist HODs and HSEQ Forum with the upkeep of the management system in place Carry out internal HSEQ audits regularly throughout the year Key areas identified within HSEQ responsibilities but not limited to: Health and Safety Ensuring upkeep of all workplace inspections Fire, First Aid inspections and ensuring all safety checks in place Review site files of RAMS, training records for subcontractors with the project managers and site manager Ensure employee external training files are up to date and work with the Head of People to identify any specific training requirements are met Manage iHasco online training portal is utilised to its capacity Ensure workplace risk assessments are maintained and up to date, working with theHOD's Onboarding into the business H&S requirements training, working with the Head of people and HOD to deliver this Ensuring DSE checks are completed, including working from home risk assessments PPE coordination COSHH coordination Work with the HSEQ Compliance Manager and Health and Safety Manager to review KPIs trends including reviewing trends with accidents, incidents and near misses Quality Reviewing suppliers and subcontractors, maintenance keeping up to date, also new suppliers and subcontractor vetting Keeping CRM up to date with active suppliers and subcontractors Intranet drive system maintenance, policies, procedures HSEQ Legislation log – keeping up to date with UK regulatory and legislation changes Ensuring all procedures are kept up to date with the correct department, for example warehouse goods out vs the design management process Working with the HSEQ Compliance Manager to update and issue new policy and procedures as these come into effect with new requirements and/ or changes Work with the Technical Director to ensure traceability of design works; DIC, ITP, DOC, Manuals etc (regular internal audit) Ensuring non-conformances are recorded and completed correctly Investigating any suppliers or customer complaints as and when needed.
Environmental Proactively monitor and measure the aspects and impacts register for the company Report on specific environmental impacts Review best practices for environmental purposes Ensuring environmental training with departments is delivered Key Skills To be able to communicate in a confident and professional manner Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to manage workloads by prioritising and meeting deadlines Excellent accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure, analyse problems and deliver solutions Experience Manufacturing / Production or Engineering / Construction industry background is preferred Experience of ISO management systems is preferable Qualifications No specific qualifications are required, applicable qualifications with HSEQ are desirable.
Must have a full UK valid Driving License.
