Job Title: HR Coordinator role – London Location: Central London with many accessible transport / tube links Salary: £45,000- £50,000 plus standout benefits for the legal market Requirement : Current legal experience is required for this position A prestigious global law firm is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator based in London to support HR functions across its Europe, Middle East, and Asia (EMEA) offices.
This key role involves partnering with Directors of Administration to deliver effective HR strategies and services tailored to the unique needs of each office.
Key Responsibilities General Support: Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Assistant Manager, HR Manager, and Chief HR Officer.
Respond to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs from staff at all levels.
Act as a liaison between HR and other business units, ensuring smooth workflow and collaboration.
Serve as an HR resource for EMEA offices, addressing questions regarding policies and procedures.
Support the HR team by tracking data received from various sources and resolving discrepancies as needed.
Onboarding: Administer the new hire onboarding process via the Onboarding platform (SilkRoad), facilitating a smooth transition for new employees.
Gather and process new hire documentation, following up on any missing information to ensure timely completion.
Review onboarding tasks and documents, reconciling any discrepancies and conducting audits within PeopleSoft.
Qualifications Strong critical thinking and sound judgment with the ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with demonstrated experience in HRIS data maintenance.
Knowledge of employment laws in jurisdictions within the UK, Asia, and the Middle East is a significant advantage.
A degree in Human Resources or a related field is strongly preferred.
Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role within a law firm A strong understanding of Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits practices, along with knowledge of data privacy laws.
