LSH Auto is seeking a passionate and skilled HR Advisor to join our team at our dealership in Birmingham.
The HR Advisor will support the business by providing expert HR guidance across the entire employee lifecycle.
This includes onboarding, development, employee relations, and offboarding processes.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional with a minimum of three years in an advisory role, CIPD Level 3 qualified (minimum), and possessing strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
Hours - 40 Salary - £35,000 Plus company car Key Responsibilities: Employee Lifecycle Management : Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a positive new hire experience.
Provide support for employee development plans and career growth initiatives.
Manage offboarding activities, conducting exit interviews and supporting knowledge transfer as necessary.
Employee Relations : Serve as a key advisor for employee relations issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution of workplace matters.
Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law to maintain compliance and consistency.
Support disciplinary and grievance procedures by offering clear and compliant advice.
HR Best Practices : Ensure HR activities align with current best practices and support the company's strategic goals.
Contribute to the development and improvement of HR policies and processes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and its practical application.
Advisory Support : Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on day-to-day HR queries.
Assist in the interpretation and implementation of company policies.
Deliver coaching and training to line managers on key HR topics to build their confidence and competence.
Process Development : Identify opportunities for process improvements within HR activities to enhance efficiency.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records related to HR processes and employee documentation.
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed to support company objectives.
Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR advisory role.
CIPD Level 3 qualification (or higher).
Proven experience in employee lifecycle management, including onboarding and offboarding.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations cases and provide sound advice.
