Job summary The postholder will join our Central Services Team at Better Health MCR, acting as the single point of contact within the organisationfor HR services as well as enquiries from potential candidates applying forroles.Better Health MCR is a high quality and highly regulated organisation operatingin the ever-changing environment of the NHS.
The duties of the post areimportant for good governance; the postholder must operate to the higheststandards and be willing and able to adapt to changing circumstances and beflexible in their work and approach.
The postholder reports to the Central Services Manager.
Main duties of the job The HR Administrator has responsibility for the administration of human resources functions and services including recruitment, ensuring that deadlines are met and high standards are achieved.

We have good links with the University and have asizeable student population.
Our staff team ofalmost 120 people has a great mix of skills and experience.

For the full job description please see the supporting document on the right/below.The post is hours and will be mostly based at The Robert Darbishire Practice although you will also need to be able to travel to our other sites as needed.
The usual working hours are 08:30 to 17:00.Salary will be in the range £26,177 to £29,258 pro rata (full-time is hours), depending on experience.
We offer membership of the NHS Pension Scheme and to weeks holiday (depending on NHS service) plus bank holidays (pro rata).

Person Specification Qualifications Essential An excellent standard of grammar and spelling in the English language.
GCSE grade C or higher (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
Desirable Training or qualifications in HR, administration, customer service, IT or other related areas.
Experience Essential Confidence in using Microsoft Windows and Office, including Word, basic Excel, Outlook and File Explorer.
Experience of providing an administrative service, with excellent administration and organisational skills and good attention to detail.
Experience of consistently following procedures, policies and systems.
Desirable Experience of working in a general medical practice or other healthcare setting.
Experience of human resources administration.
An understanding of the requirements of employment and equality law.
Experience of making improvements to working practices, the development and implementation of new systems, policies and protocols.
Personal Skills and Abilities Essential A friendly and approachable manner, with good people skills, showing understanding, care and assertiveness when appropriate.
The ability to communicate confidently and effectively (both verbal and written) with a wide range of individuals.
The ability to be well-organised and prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines.
