Housing Officer

Department: Operations/East of England Location: Milton Keynes/Bedford/Hertfordshire (Home-based with regular travel required) Reporting to: Operations Team Leader Contract Type: Permanent Hours of Work: 40 hours p/w (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm) Salary: £28,000.00 - £35,000.00 per annum About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Housing Officer to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for providing support and management to Service Users residing in dispersed accommodation across Milton Keynes, Bedford, and Hertfordshire.
This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities Service User Support: Manage a caseload of Service Users.
Conduct inductions and support Service Users in their new accommodation.
Provide guidance and signposting to local services (doctors, shops, support agencies).
Conduct regular visits and report any incidents, issues, or concerns.
Ensure Service Users adhere to tenancy agreements and move-on dates.
Arrange transportation for Service Users as required.
Prioritise Service User health and safety.
Conduct regular welfare checks.Property Management: Conduct regular property inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Ensure timely repairs and replacements of property items.
Recommend property re-locations for optimal portfolio utilisation.
