HLTA/PPA Cover – WN2 (Wigan) Teaching Personnel are recruiting a HLTA for a local primary school in the WN2 area of Wigan .
This role is to start as soon as possible and will initially be on a 2-term basis, with the school looking to offer a permanent contract to the successful candidate.
As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will be required to fulfil the role of a Teaching Assistant while also undertaking higher-level responsibilities, including: Small group interventions.
Classroom teaching and PPA cover.
General class support and 1:1 pupil support.
Desirable applicants will need the following: HLTA Status or meet the HLTA standards.
A high level of classroom and pupil management skills.
The ability to provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils.
Confidence and capability to cover planned teacher absences.
Reliable transport to commute to and from the school.
Enthusiasm and a proactive, hands-on approach to supporting pupils in achieving their goals.
