Position: High Level Teaching Assistant Location: Bilborough Job Type: Full-time Year Group: KS2 - needs to be able to step up and teach if the teacher is unavailable and take small groups for intervention groups.
We are recruiting for a passionate and experienced High Level Teaching Assistant to join a lovely inner city school and make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities: Work closely with classroom teachers and special education professionals to support students with challenging behaviour.
Implement behaviour intervention plans and strategies to address individual student needs.
Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with behavioural challenges.
Foster a safe and respectful classroom environment.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop and implement effective solutions.Qualifications: A relevant qualification in education, psychology, or a related field.
Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role.
Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and positive behaviour support.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
