pro rata salary - £20,819.61 Working hours: 32.5 hours per week - Term Time, Monday - Friday Contract Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Closing Date: Sunday 23rd February 2025 Shortlisting Date: Monday 24th February 2025 Formal Interview Date: Friday 28th February 2025 We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive team at Woodley Primary School.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the learning and achievement of pupils across all year groups, from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Year 6.
The role will primarily involve covering whole classes, planning and delivering lessons.
This role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant or an aspiring or recently qualified teacher wanting to gain valuable experience in a classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Planning and delivering engaging and effective learning activities for whole classes during the school day.
Planning and preparation time is provided for this.
Covering PPA (planning, preparation & assessment) sessions across all year groups, ensuring continuity of learning and high-quality teaching.
Creating an inspiring and purposeful learning environment that supports pupils' progress and wellbeing.
Person Specification We are looking for a candidate who: Committed to promoting and upholding Woodley's CARE values.
Is an enthusiastic, inspirational and experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong commitment to raising standards for all children.
Has high expectations of both learners and themselves.
