Hgv Technician

Due to expansion and in line with planned growth, we currently have opportunities in our busy commercial vehicle workshops at our sites in Ayrshire and Motherwell for full-time, permanent HGV technicians.
Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for MOT preparation, service and repair of HGV, LCV and PSV's.
We are looking for hard working and dedicated people to join our friendly team who is looking to get fully involved and make a difference every day.
We are offering a competitive rates of pay, coupled with additional remuneration for on-call which is based on a weekly rota.
The Candidate we are looking for: NVQ / VCQ level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) Experience of heavy goods vehicle maintenance / repair HGV Class 1 / Class 2 driving license preferred Knowledge of vehicle electrical, hydraulic systems and refrigeration systems The ability to work on your own initiative when required and as part of our team Responsibilities and Duties Service, maintenance and repairs to a range of commercial vehicles Diagnosing vehicle faults and rectifying defects Carrying out routine safety inspections On-site and roadside repairs Preventative maintenance Adhering to health and safety Preparing vehicles for MOT JBRP1_UKTJ
