Architectural Assistant

INTERNAL APPLICANTS MUST APPLY VIA MYSELF NLC11 £43, - £48, An opportunity has arisen to be part of the Technical and Design Section within the Assets and Procurement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing architectural design, project planning and contract administration on a wide range of building contracts carried out on behalf of the Council ensuring an economic and efficient service.You will be a key part of the Council's in-house professional team of Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Civil Engineer and Clerks of Works.
You will support the Design Coordinator in the successful delivery of the Council's corporate capital programmes, including compliance with all relevant legislation, such as planning and building regulations, the CDM regulations and recognised best practice.With a degree, HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject, you will have significant post-qualification experience working in a relevant field.You will require a full driving licence to undertake the duties of this post.Working here at North Lanarkshire CouncilIf you're considering a career with us, you'll be keen to know what's in it for you.
