We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic ASHP Installers Mate to support our team of air source heat pump (ASHP) installers across our Central Region.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the renewable energy sector and gain hands-on experience with low-carbon heating systems.
You will assist with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of ASHP systems under the supervision of qualified engineers.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the installation of Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems at domestic and commercial sites.
Help with site preparation, including moving materials, laying out pipework, and setting up equipment.
Support qualified installers in the fitting and connection of ASHP components.
Perform basic tasks such as cutting and measuring pipes, making sure the work area is clean and safe, and handling tools and materials.
Help conduct routine maintenance and service checks on ASHP systems.
Follow health and safety regulations and procedures on all job sites.
Learn and develop technical skills related to ASHP systems and general plumbing/heating installations.
Provide excellent customer service when on-site with clients.
Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in a construction or mechanical trade Skills: Basic understanding of plumbing, heating, or electrical systems is a plus.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills in renewable energy technologies.
Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
Physical Requirements: Able to carry out physical tasks and lift equipment/materials as required.
Driving License: Full UK driving license CSCS Card (desirable).
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
