Mechanic / Vehicle Technician

Job DescriptionMy client is a Family car dealership who have been going for 20 years and are currently looking to recruit Vehicle Technicians to join their team in both Cars and HGVLocations: Milton Keynes Role and Responsibilities: To undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard within scheduled times to meet company and franchise standardsRepair, test vehicles and diagnose their faults as and when required by Service Manager and supervisory staffReplace components, parts, lubricants and consumables and record usageKeep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safetyCarry out work completely and effectively within manufacturers' servicing and repair timesAdvise and report on vehicle faults and servicing requirements while working on vehicles, including future servicing/repair requirements The Ideal Applicant: Have at least 3 years' experience after qualifying period, of working in a Main Dealership (or similar)Ideally hold a valid MOT Card Excellent customer service skillsTake responsibility for the quality and quantity of their workFull UK driving licenceLevel 2 or 3 City and Guild Qualification Package for Vehicle TechnicianBasic: Up to £37,000 depending on experience with OTE of £40,000Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm and Alternative Saturdays 7am to 12pm Package for HGV TechnicianBasis: Up to £42,000 plus OTEHours: Monday to Friday Shift work 6am to 2.30pm or 1.30pm to 10pm and Alternative Saturdays
