You'll be responsible for ensuring that high quality heat pump installations with the CTC Heat Pump range from Sweden are carried out to the manufactures instructions and efficiently while delivering best in class, outstanding customer service.
CTC is one of the UK's leading manufacturer and specialist supplier of air and ground source heat pump systems.
Being supplied via Go Geothermal since 2021, CTC supplies its products and services to a wide range of customers, including self-builders, installers, house builders and social landlords, merchants and specifiers.
There are two elements to CTC business that needs laser focus on to help achieve our annual targets – CTC air source heat pumps, which deals predominantly with end users and installers; and CTC Professional, which deals primarily with larger, turnkey projects and spans market sectors including volume house builders, social landlords and other commercial clients.
What You'll Be Doing As a Heat Pump Engineer You'll be helping families lower their costs and carbon footprint by commissioning and maintaining the very latest CTC heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators.
You'll work closely with our in-house designers to make sure that contractor installations are fitted efficient and reliable for homeowners and commercial applications.
You'll train at the CTC Academy, Sweden to become an elite Heat Pump Engineer, giving you the opportunity for development and professional growth with the UK's premium heat pump brand, covering domestic and commercial projects.
You'll be Joining a Europe-Wide team of Engineers as part of the CTC family.
Key Tasks To mentor and educate the Key Account Manager team to ensure they are constantly at the forefront of regulation and product changes.
Regular reviews to be completed with sales team across sales regions.
To form strong links with the installer network through physical and online meetings with their technical teams, in particular large installers, contractors and specifiers.
Working with the Technical Manager and the technical departments to continue the evolution through continual review of processes at Go Geothermal & being an inspirational member of the technical team showing initiative and conviction in decisions.
What we would like you to have as a Heat Pump Engineer We will provide all necessary Air Source Heat Pump training at our own CTC Academy in Sweden along with ongoing training at our Retford and Newton Aycliffe centres, however we need you to have the following: NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent) Experience installing boilers or air source heat pumps Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators Any of the following would be good: NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent) WRAS Qualifications (water regs) Gas Qualifications Unvented hot water systems (part G) Level 3 heat pump system design F-Gas Category 1 Environment: CTC operates from two sites, one in Retford (technical, sales / administration) and one in Newton Aycliffe (head office and distribution).
The role would be predominantly based from the Retford office, although certain tasks will need to be performed on-site and may involve overnight stays.
The ideal candidate is Southern based to focus on London, South East and South West of the UK.

Complete annual appraisals with Technical Manager.
Useful Skills An understanding of thermodynamics and electro-mechanical control systems.
Appropriate work experience.
Ideally knowledge of plumbing systems.
Ability to work alone or in a multi-disciplinary team.
Exceptional project management skills and the ability to be engaged in multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to grasp new concepts and ideas.
Basic fabrication skills, including welding, silver soldering and brazing preferable.
Person specification As an engineer within the technical team, you will be enthusiastic, ambitious, able to work independently and as part of a growing team.
Good attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines is essential.
