Knowledge of CQC and QOF standards and experience in supporting audit and compliance activities.

Main duties of the job Primary Key Responsibilities1.
Medical Summarising and SNOMED CT CodingCode clinical data using SNOMED CT within the EMIS Web system, adhering to coding standards to ensure data quality and compliance.2.CQC and QOF ComplianceConduct monthly searches and audits to ensure the practice meets CQC and QOF standards.3.Patient Registration and Deduction4.
Prescription ProcessingHandle prescription requests , verifying details and coordinating with clinical staff to address any queries.5.
Medical Reports and Documentation RequestsProcess requests from patients, insurance companies, and other entities for medical reports and documentation.6.
Correspondence and Documentation ManagementReview, process,scan and file all incoming correspondence, including clinical letters, ensuring action is taken in line with established protocols.7.
Administrative and Staff SupportAnswer incoming calls, transferring or managing caller's requests professionally.8.
Meeting and Policy ManagementRecord minutes for practice meetings, documenting discussions and agreed actions accurately.9.
Work Area MaintenanceMaintain a clean, organised, and effective working area, supporting productivity and professionalism.Secondary Key ResponsibilitiesIn addition to the primary responsibilities, the Clinical Administrator may also be required to:1.

Job description Job responsibilities The post holder will be expected to provide generaladministration duties, which may include but is not limited to;To assist in keeping patient records accurate and up to date byscanning and attaching paper documents in to electronic records.Filing scanned documents into patient electronic notes (EMIS)Electronically filing test results and other documents/patientinformationPerform computer searches and data collection to supportpractice enhanced services and ensure clinical safety.Keeping all records including staff trainings up to date for CQCpurposes.Monitoring telephone call queue daily.To liaise with reception manager to make sure all tasks arecompleted at the end of day.Helping patients by dealing with requests or questions in apolite, professional and efficient mannerTelephoning patients to inform them about prescriptions, tomove/book or rebook appointments, or gather personal data in a sensitivemanner, such as smoking status, when asked to do soPrinting and distributing repeat prescriptionsRegistering patients, ensuring that information is checked anddocumented accuratelyGeneral administration involving patient records, audits etc.
