Join our client's dynamic team as a Health & Safety Compliance Officer, a leading firm in the engineering and manufacturing industry.
In this role, you will play a key part in promoting a culture of safety and compliance across all operations, ensuring adherence to regulations, and driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental standards.
If you're detail-oriented Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator and ready to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you Benefits 20 Days Annual Leave Bank Holidays Free Parking Company Pension Scheme Company Training Role and Responsibilities of a Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator Maintain the training register, issue training and toolbox talks (TBTs), and ensure sign-off.
Conduct staff inductions when needed.
Arrange flights and accommodation as required.
Keep maintenance schedules, records, and remedial actions up-to-date.
Perform general admin duties like scanning, filing, and accident reporting.
Review site machinery check sheets and ensure safety compliance (LOLER, PAT testing, Legionella, etc.).
Assist with incident reporting and investigations.
Help prepare compliance reports, manage documents, and respond to department emails.
Assist with personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protective equipment (RPE), and first aid management.
Take notes in health and safety meetings and audits.
Manage van packs and relevant information.
Coordinate with subcontractors on-site.
Step in for the Compliance Technical Document Writer when needed.
Provide support for any other health and safety-related duties.
