Job description Job responsibilities Candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day processes within the Health Record Service which include scanning of patient records, Indexing to a high quality and many other associated processes.Candidates must be able to demonstrate attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and have good verbal communication skills.
Applicants should highlight how they meet these criteria through their employment history, qualifications and within their supporting information.
Health Records staff work specific shifts within the working week, either 8 am-4 pm or 10am-6pm, also working 1 Saturday in 4 8am-12, late shifts are on a 2:1 ratio per per.
1 late one week, 2 the next and so on.
Person Specification Qualifications / training required Essential Literacy and numeracy skills, demonstrable to GCSE (or equivalent) standard Trained in use of Trust electronic record systems, (, PAS and eDMS) or similar/equivalent systems IHRIM equivalent NVQ3 qualification in Health records or minimum of 2 years' experience in a health records environment Experience and Technical knowledge of transforming images into a digital format Previous or relevant experience necessary Essential Competent user of computer desktop applications Previous experience working with electronic or paper records.
Excellent Customer Service skills Desirable Experience working with health records Aptitudes and skills required Essential Able to exercise initiative to resolve problems when appropriate Values and behaviours Essential Patients First Always Improving oWorking Together
