About the Company We are seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to join our SHEQ team and help ensure compliance with our Company Management Systems (ISO 9001 & ISO 45001) and adherence to IMS requirements across the business.
This role will involve ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, visiting sites and undertaking SHE Inspections, and implementing safety improvements.
You will help ensure that the highest possible standards of Safety, Health and Environmental responsibility are implemented across the business, and we achieve full compliance against all legal requirements.
About the Role Your Day To Day Will Include Promote Safety, Health and Environmental aspects leading and setting a good example to other employees and stakeholders.
Work closely with the operational teams in carrying out their roles and SHE responsibilities.
Carry out HSE inspections of project sites as directed by the Head of HSEQ Provide timely and affective operational SHE support and advice to the business unit.
Assist the operational teams in developing Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
Support the operational teams in developing and reviews RAMS.
Support any HSE incidents and/or investigations Responsibilities You will be reporting directly to the Head of HSEQ, and you will be a key member of the Health and Safety team and will have the opportunity to work closely with the wider team within the business who are incredibly supportive of one another.
The role is office based with frequent travel to sites.
There will be an option for some hybrid working Qualifications NEBOSH General or Construction Member of IOSH Valid UK driving licence Good knowledge of H&S Legislation Minimum 2 years' experience in a construction health and safety position.
Experience of earthmoving and quarrying desirable but not essential.
Sound knowledge of CDM Regulations.
IT literate, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word Outlook Willingness to travel.
