We are seeking a Headteacher to lead our specialist school in Southampton This is a unique opportunity to transform lives, foster inclusivity, and build an environment where every child is valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

Your Roles and Responsibilities The Headteacher will lead the school with a clear vision and effective management, ensuring it meets its aims, objectives, and regulatory requirements while aligning with the overall ethos of the group.
Key responsibilities include delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people through a tailored curriculum, high-quality teaching, improved behaviour strategies, and therapeutic programs, all within a safe and inclusive environment.
The Headteacher will ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including safeguarding, health and safety, and independent special school standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement through regular audits and reviews.
Building a motivated and professional staff team is essential, with a focus on recruitment, performance management, and professional development to create a positive and effective working environment.
The Headteacher is responsible for the commercial success of the school, maintaining full occupancy, managing costs rigorously, and implementing strategic growth plans to support the school's development and sustainability.
About You!
Leadership experience within an SEN or similar specialist education setting.
A proven track record of improving outcomes for students with additional needs.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
Expertise in safeguarding, behaviour management, and inclusive education practices.
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and relevant leadership qualifications or experience.
