Some key responsibilities of the role include:In this role, you will work at the intersection of Product Managers, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and UX Research.
You will work directly with Product Teams, responsible for the messaging, packaging, pricing, and delivery of the products to market.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing go-to-market strategies and campaigns, ensuring effective research to support decision making.Product Marketing strategic leadership Contribute to Gelato B2B's product marketing strategy and roadmap, in collaboration with partners across Product and MarketingDrive the product marketing direction for Gelato, collaborating with other Marketing and GTM teams in your specific Product/software areas New product launch/channel planning Collaborate with and connect stakeholders to ensure cross functional alignment on key objectives and results with regards to your assigned software launches.Define launch strategy and collaborate with marketing on channel plans to drive product adoption.
Develop and own product positioning, messaging and value propositions that differentiate Gelato's solutions in the market.Collaborate with marketing to craft engaging audience-specific content, including case studies, solution briefs, web content, presentations, data sheets, etc.
Research & analysis, championing customer understanding and insights Drive our understanding of buyer/decision-maker personas and journeys, and the jobs-to-be-done to streamline both digital/self-serve and sales-driven/assisted experiences for your specific product/software areaUnderstand market trends, customer requirements, usage and buying behavior, and the partner ecosystem to better identify market opportunities and customer demand for Gelato's software product offerings.Educate sales, product management, marketing teams and the partner channel about competitive landscape and competitor offerings.
Continuous product (software) revenue growth / optimization Develop and activate ongoing messaging and positioning to drive software adoption for your portfolio of software products.Ensure product adoption and outcome KPIs/measurements are in place and continually monitored to drive ongoing promotions and revenue growth Product vision & strategy Translate market and customer insights to influence Gelato's product vision, strategy and roadmap.Work with Product teams to develop solutions that support Gelato's B2B GTM plays and deliver value to both customers and Gelato.
Who you are 5+ years of software marketing experience, including within product marketing.Deep understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies across the entire Software Development LifecycleOutstanding English communication skills to explain and translate complex technical concepts into simple and intuitive communications.Able to coordinate across many teams and iterate and deliver in a fast-moving start-up environment.Proven experience being self-directed and working with minimal supervision.Data-driven, use data to measure results and inform decision making and strategy development.Experience with Software-as-a-Service offerings a plus.Experience designing sales and marketing collateral from scratch based on sales conversations, sales calls, product interviews, user interviews, market research, and your own experience.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.What it's like to work at GelatoWe are a customer-obsessed team with the ambition to change the world by connecting technology to the printing industry and making it much more sustainable.
