We're seeking an accomplished Head of Network Security Strategy and Architecture to lead a Network Security vision, strategy, and it's architecture.
This role is critical for developing a secure and reliable network across RAN, Transport, Core, and OSS domains, aligning with both operational and business objectives.
You'll set a multi-year strategy and deliver a network security architecture that supports business goals while ensuring compliance, enhancing security operations, and building customer trust.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and communicate a multi-year Network Security strategy across all network and IT domains, aligning with business and operational requirements.
Architecture Development: Translate strategy into a comprehensive security architecture, designing secure systems that meet immediate and future business needs.
Industry Awareness: Maintain knowledge of cyber security and network trends, evaluating emerging technologies from an operational perspective.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with RAN, Transport, Core, and OSS strategy and architecture teams, IT architecture, Technical Services, Information Security, and Regulatory functions to meet business needs.
Experience needed Extensive Cyber Security Experience: Background in Network Security within a telco environment, with demonstrated experience in strategy development and translating strategy into high-level architecture.
End-to-End Network Knowledge: Solid understanding of OSS, RAN, Core, Transmission, IP, and cloud infrastructure.
Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge in one or more areas including Cloud/Hybrid Security, Network Security, Data Center Security, Identity & Access Management, Application Security, or Vulnerability Management.
Compliance & Governance: Proficiency in applying security policies, risk management, technical assurance, and governance practices.
Technical Leadership: Capable of designing, reviewing, and setting direction for secure architectures, adapting industry standards to our needs and creating innovative precedents.
Security Frameworks Knowledge: Familiarity with NIST, PCI, GDPR, ISO Series, OWASP, ITIL, COBIT, and ISF standards.
Vendor Management Experience: Skilled in evaluating technical requirements, defining RFIs and RFQs, managing telco and cloud vendors, and negotiating contracts.
