Head Of Neighbourhood Services

This is an exciting time to join the Housing Service at Gravesham as it's on a journey of change, and this role, Head of Neighbourhood Services will play an integral part in continuing the change journey and will help to ensure robust leadership is in place whilst delivering improvements across the various sections of the service.
Supporting the Assistant Director (Social Housing) you will be part of the strategic leadership team and through your work will ensure the continuous professional development of the council's housing landlord functions which include housing management, housing income and sheltered housing services.
You will develop, implement, and place resident involvement at the heart of the housing landlord services functions.
You will lead and motivate all housing landlord services staff to deliver a quality housing service that achieves high customer satisfaction whilst also supporting staff in their personal development though the provision of training, coaching and mentoring opportunities.
You will play a key role in ensuring that technology is used most effectively to deliver a consistent high quality, accessible service to our tenants whilst also developing an effective performance culture throughout the teams to ensure the delivery of consistent high quality, value for money services in meeting the council's corporate performance management requirements.
