Job Title: Head of M&A - Professional Services Consolidator Location: England Salary: £120,000 - £140,000 + Performance-Based Bonus We are supporting a rapidly growing professional services consolidator, executing an ambitious buy-and-build strategy across the UK.
We're looking for an experienced Head of M&A to lead and drive the acquisition strategy, reporting directly to the CFO.
This is a key role for a strategic thinker with a strong background in M&A, either from a buy-and-build environment, practice, or boutique advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the full M&A lifecycle, including target identification, deal structuring, negotiation, and integration Collaborate closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to define and implement the acquisition strategy Oversee financial modelling, due diligence, and valuation of potential acquisition targets Manage post-acquisition integration and realise synergies across the business Develop and maintain relationships with external advisors, investors, and key stakeholders Provide strategic insights and updates to the leadership team to inform decision-making Requirements: Extensive M&A experience, ideally in a buy-and-build environment or within practice/boutique advisory Strong financial and analytical background with expertise in deal structuring, due diligence, and valuations Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working closely with senior leadership Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Salary & Benefits: £120,000 - £140,000 base salary, depending on experience Performance-based bonus Competitive benefits package, and opportunities for career progression within a growing business If you have a proven track record in M&A, whether from a buy-and-build strategy, practice, or boutique advisory, and are excited to lead acquisitions for a dynamic and fast-growing business, we want to hear from you!
