ROLE PURPOSE: Full ownership of the Marketing and Advertising technology (MAdTech) stack, roadmap and strategy covering CRM, content, workflow, media, SEO, digital and web/app data.
Ensure all tools and platforms meet current and future business needs.
Identify opportunities to implement new technology to support Marketing's objective of driving growth, gain business support and implement new platforms.
Keep abreast of external factors that will impact our MAdTech stack (e.g.
cookieless world) and identify required solutions to maximise value from these opportunities and challenges.
Day-to-day ownership of platforms operations and maintenance.
Support the business in delivering its stretching revenue goals.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: MAdTech Strategy Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing technology strategy that supports Allwyn's marketing goals and objectives.
Research and evaluate new marketing technology solutions to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing technology initiatives with broader business priorities.
Platform Implementation Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of marketing technology platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, email marketing, social media, and analytics tools.
Ensure seamless data flow and integration between marketing technology platforms and other systems.
Provide technical guidance and support to marketing teams in the use of marketing technology tools.
Data Management Establish and maintain robust data governance processes to ensure data quality, accuracy, and security.
Team Management Lead and manage a team of marketing technology professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages experimentation and continuous learning.
Vendor Management and Budgets In conjunction with Procurement, negotiate and manage relationships with marketing technology vendors, ensuring optimal performance and value.
Oversee vendor contracts, renewals, and service level agreements.
Lead MAdTech budget management and forecasting process.
KEY MEASURES OF SUCCESS: Successful implementation and adoption of marketing technology platforms.
Improved marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Enhanced customer experience and satisfaction.
Achievement of key marketing performance metrics (e.g., lead generation, conversion rates, customer lifetime value).
Effective management and development of the marketing technology team.
Delivery of our marketing and commercial revenue and good causes targets.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Deep understanding of marketing technology platforms and tools, including CRM, marketing automation, email marketing, social media, and analytics.
Strong technical skills in data management.
Experience with API integrations and data connectors.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to think critically and creatively to identify new opportunities and challenges.
Leadership: Proven experience leading and managing marketing technology teams.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Project Management: Experience managing complex marketing technology projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the marketing and advertising landscape, including industry trends and best practices.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, computer science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in marketing technology or a related field.
Proven track record of success in implementing and managing marketing technology platforms.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
