Head Of Information Technology

One of Hampshire's leading schools is searching for a Head of IT to lead the team in supporting modern IT infrastructure to over 1500 users.
The Head of IT will work to define and deliver the IT strategy across 3 sites.
You will lead a well-resourced IT Support team consisting of 2 Network Managers, 3 Technicians and an IT Administrator and Cloud Technician.
You will have hands on technical experience and will lead and manage a team to ensure effective, efficient and professional service delivery.
You will have a strong technical IT background with experience of managing an IT Helpdesk, server and network infrastructure, cybersecurity and cloud services.
Core responsibilities Deliver an effective digital strategy Effectively manage the IT Systems - networking, cybersecurity and cloud services, to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
Support effective future proof planning of networks and maintenance schedules for the networking components.
Manage the IT infrastructure Key Skills and Experience: Office 365 Administration, Azure AD, Intune.
Experience of crafting and running and Powershell scripts.
Windows Server (possibly SCCM, DPM, SCEP).
Network Security including firewalls, VPNs and anti-virus software.
Excellent all-round knowledge of Networks Experience of managing a team Salary for this role is up to £65,000 + benefits including free lunch, Private Medical Insurance, Health Cash Plan, generous contributory pension scheme, 31 days' annual leave rising to 36 days with service, continuous professional development and onsite gym.
