Job Overview We are seeking an impressive and dynamic Head of HSE to lead and enhance our company's HSE strategies and programs.
In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing initiatives that drive health, safety, and environmental excellence across the organisation.
Your strategic insight and deep understanding of regulatory standards will be essential in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
If you are an experienced HSE professional who is passionate about making a difference, we'd love to hear from you Your job will include: Develop and execute a comprehensive HSE strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and inspire the HSE team, ensuring cohesive collaboration and alignment with the company's vision.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems in compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Ensure consistent quality in products/services and drive initiatives for continuous improvement.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of health and safety management systems.
Promote workplace health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Develop, implement, and manage safety programs and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct risk assessments and enforce compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of environmental management systems in compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 14001).
Develop and oversee environmental policies and programs to minimise the company's environmental footprint.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainability practices.
Ensure all operations comply with local, national, and international regulations.
Lead internal and external audits, manage non-conformances, and drive corrective actions.
Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on HSE practices and principles.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organisation.
Develop and maintain KPIs and metrics to measure HSE performance.
Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Experience / Personal Attributes Required: Relevant experience.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organisation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HSE strategies.
