The remit of this position is to deliver for PCMA enterprise wide and lead Convene 4 Climate.

Role Overview: This person is passionate about and committed to re-defining sustainability across the organisation and industry as a whole.
This position will lead global efforts in sustainability both internally and externally at PCMA across all its brands, regions and strategic partnerships.
The primary accountability of this position includes the development and implementation of a global sustainability strategy and leading Convene 4 Climate the Sustainability Platform driven by responsibility, fuelled by technology to deliver transformation in the Business Events Industry.
They will also lead Convene 4 Climate as a business unit within PCMA including but not limited to; management of a C4C advisory board, an annual event and calendar of initiatives to support our commitment.
The Candidate The Head of Global Sustainability has a great understanding of Sustainability through a business events industry lens.
They possess, strong leadership, change management and multiple stakeholder management skills.
They will analyse, develop, provide insights and advance sustainability frameworks and projects across multiple internal and external areas including but not limited to events, content, education, procurement, partnerships and procedures.
They have a passion and commitment to ensuring sustainability is embedded in the organisations DNA.
The outcomes of this role and projects must benefit and advance the organisation, our community and our global audience in sustainability.
Essential Criteria Third level qualification in events, business, hospitality, or related field / or over 5 years' experience in the industry.
Sustainability Qualification or Certification or 5 years' experience with sustainability initiatives.
Minimum of 5 years' experience within the Business Events Industry.
Highly skilled in organization and project management.
Excellent service standard managing clients and multiple stakeholders, with strong written and verbal communication and follow through.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people.
Presentation skills.
Desirable Criteria Change management experience Content or Product development experience Knowledge and experience in using the follow software; Salesforce - Pardot Global experience of operating in multiple countries.
Experience of working in both a planner (Association, Meeting Planner, PCO, Corporate) and supplier organization.
Fluent in more than one language.
