THE COMPANY: An exciting opportunity has arisen with a rapidly growing commodity broker based in the City.
The position will oversee a small team and will be instrumental with developing the compliance culture as the business grows.
RESPONSIBILITIES: To ensure the business is aware of the regulatory risks it faces and mitigates against them Manage stakeholder relationships and advise the Board on regulatory matters.
Develop the regulatory culture to maintain the compliance requirements across the business To notify, liaise and communicate effectively and promptly with the FCA and other regulatory authorities.
Responsible for the oversight of all compliance matters and ensuring full compliance with all relevant parties, FCA, ICE and CME regulations.
Build out and implementation of a proportionate Compliance Infrastructure To manage the Compliance team REQUIREMENTS: Experience of working in a senior level/Head of Compliance position within a derivatives brokerage.
Knowledge of commodities Having held the SMF16/17 functions before would be seen as beneficial.
