You will play a pivotal role in ensuring commercial excellence, managing key processes, and exploring new business opportunities.
The company is working on behalf of a highly successful Tier 1 contractor, who specialise in large scale, multi-million pound infrastructure projects.Key responsibilities for this Head of Commercial Role:Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy, aligning with business goals and market trends.Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to maximise profitability.Lead negotiations with key partners, suppliers, and clients to secure favourable terms and agreements.Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to adjust strategies as needed.Provide regular reporting and insights on pricing and commercial metrics to senior management.Assist/advise with the forecasting and budgeting cycles in relation to commercial and pricing initiatives.Maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of commercial objectives.Identify potential commercial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies in all commercial activities.Lead and mentor Quantity Surveyor teams, fostering a high-performance culture.Experience required for this Head of Commercial Role:Demonstrated background within Telecoms.Experience in construction is highly desirable.Expertise across NEC3 contracts (mandatory).CEMAR software.Schedule of Rates.
