members Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the buying strategy to ensure a compelling, market-leading product offering.
Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality, cost-effective products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the supply chain and within the business.
Stay ahead of market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Oversee the end-to-end buying process, including demand planning, budgeting, and stock management.
Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product success.
Analyse sales data to optimise product range and maximise profitability.
Champion sustainability and ethical sourcing in procurement practices.
Build and manage a growing team, cultivating a culture of creativity and excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of buying experience, ideally within the cosmetics or beauty industry.
Proven ability to drive commercial success and achieve business targets.
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
Deep understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour in the beauty sector.
Experience working in start-up or high-growth environments is highly desirable.
Analytical mindset with expertise in inventory systems and data-driven decision-making.
