The Role As the Head Chef, under the guidance of the Executive Chef, you will lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our valued guests.
You will bring a blend of culinary expertise, creativity, and strong leadership to oversee every detail of our kitchen operations.
Responsibilities include Support with the d esignand creation of menus, considering seasonal ingredients,market trends,customer preferences, and dietary restrictions Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and manage the kitchen budget, including cost control measures and financial reporting Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, ingredient sourcin g and presentation Implement andmaintainhigh standardsof cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in the kitchen Help e stablish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality and fresh ingredients Help Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors to optimise costs without compromising on quality, once authorised by theExecutive Head Chef Lead and inspire the kitchen team to consistently deliver exceptional and memorable dining experiences, supporting the team and encouraging growth Support the Executive Chef in training, and mentoring kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, providing guidance and acollaborative work environment Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring the kitchenteamscomplywithall health and safety regulations Stay informed about industry trends, new ingredients, and culinary techniques Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as aHeadChef,orin a similarleadershiprole Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus Extensive knowledge of culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully Excellent time management and organisational skillsareessential Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays asrequired The Benefits 28 Days holiday Extra days holiday for your birthday Free meals on shift Free Gym access on-site Employee Assistance Programme Exclusive Employee discounts on accommodation, attractions & dining across the THC Group.
