Temporary Housing Support Worker

Salary: £16+ per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Temporary Housing Support Worker to join our team, specialising in supported housing for young people aged 16-18.
This role involves key working with up to 8 young people, providing essential support and guidance to help them achieve independence and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one key work support to up to 8 young people.
Assist young people in developing life skills and accessing education, employment, and training opportunities.
Conduct regular assessments and create personalised support plans.
Liaise with external agencies and service providers to coordinate additional support.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions and services provided.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a support worker role, preferably with young people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help young people.
A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Knowledge of local services and resources in Greater Manchester is an advantage.
