CBW is currently looking for a Handyperson to be based in a commercial office building based in Holborn, London.
Working with the maintenance team on-site, he or she will be required to carry out fabric PPM and reactive maintenance across a commercial environment.
Hours of work 08:00am - 17:00pm to start off with then will need to transfer to shift work earlies and lates Immediate Start £17 per hour Temp on going Key duties & Responsibilities Ability to deliver excellent customer service To undertake basic "Fabric duties" which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
To undertake some plumbing activities including but not limited to clearing blockages, attending to burst pipes, replacing components, servicing systems etc.
Liaising with the contract management team Investigating complaints and taking appropriate action Ensuring feedback is provided to the helpdesk on the progress of M&E jobs Requirements A proven track record in commercial building maintenance An understanding of most building fabric duties (Plumbing, Painting, Carpentry, Basic Electrical, etc) Good communication skills Health & Safety experience Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use) Ability to deliver excellent customer service Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload Please send your CV to Katie at CBW Staffing Solutions for more information.
