Commercial Insurance Handler Nottingham Salary - £28,000 - £35,000 We are working with an established insurance broker who is looking for a Commercial Insurance Handler to deal with commercial combined, SME and other related insurance products based in Nottingham.
The Role: To provide new business quotations and re-market existing cases including motor fleet.
To ensure the broking strategy for this Nottingham based Insurance Broker is followed.
To be responsible for ensuring the business process is followed.
To be responsible for ensuring records are compliant.
To provide regular management information when requested.
To carry out all aspects of internal underwriting administration for new cases until handover.
Undertake specific projects as required.
Assisting Account Directors/Executives where required.
A ttend courses as directed.
Develop relationships with preferred insurers.
The Required Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Good organi s ational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and proactive with a results-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of FCA Knowledge of Law of Agency, Data Protection Act and money laundering requirements.
Knowledge of the internal procedures as laid down in the compliance manual.
