PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: As the Group Finance Manager, you'll be at the heart of our mission to streamline and future-proof our finance function.
With our impressive year-on-year growth, we're looking for someone who can bring best-in-class processes, systems, and policies to drive exceptional financial reporting, budgeting, and monitoring.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES The duties are many and varied, but the list below is considered to be the basic requirement: Group Reporting: Lead the preparation of Group Consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
Coordinate and review executive reporting to the Board.
Own and enhance the Group forecast model (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Innovate with Jedox, our new planning and budgeting system, to develop insightful business reporting.
Champion Sustainability Reporting for the group (SECR, etc.).
Banks and Covenant Reporting: Ensure compliance with bank covenant reporting to our Lenders.
Deliver the monthly MI pack for the entire Group.
Prepare compliance certificates from covenant calculations.
Utilise forecasting to anticipate and address covenant compliance issues, keeping the Group FD / Group Financial Controller informed.
External Reporting: Manage the external audit process, liaising with auditors and internal Financial Controllers.
Prepare annual financial statements using OneSource accounts software.
Oversee group tax returns and coordinate information collection for accurate CT600 preparation.
Team Management: Lead and coordinate the offshore team focusing on centralised accounting.
Manage UK team members covering sustainability, corporate reporting, and management accounting.
Ad Hoc: Support future M&A activity or refinancing as needed.
Support with Finance Management training to non-Finance Managers across the Group.
Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety to promote a safe, equitable and legally compliant work place.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB Excellent communication skills across all business levels.
Proven ability to coach, lead, and deliver results.
Expertise in preparing management accounts and costing activities.
Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to manage workload effectively.
ACCA qualified with 1-2 years post-qualification experience.
