We are currently seeking a dedicated and personable Membership Coordinator to join our team and support the continued growth and management of our prestigious membership community.
Job Overview: The Membership Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the Membership Manager in all aspects of the membership journey, from onboarding new members to maintaining existing relationships.
This role involves managing membership applications and coordinating member communications.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities: Supporting the Membership Team as the point of contact for all Membership enquiries via phone, email or letter.
Supporting the Membership Team in the management of all administration, Waiting List, new Member elections and existing Member queries.
Using Salesforce to create new members and memberships, adding direct debit details and changing any necessary details on Salesforce such as email addresses, home addresses etc.
Scanning and filing of forms Dealing with payments and refunds; including taking credit card payments over the phone when required, issuing refunds for duplicate payments or resignations and running Direct Debits, recording the ones that fail Taking credit card payments over the phone when required or providing payment links, issuing refunds, and running Direct Debits, recording those that fail Creating invoices using templates Sending reminders over mail merge and responding to all email replies Running regular reports to update renewal tracker Run regular reports to get all clubs up to date mailing lists for marketing team Ordering of all stationery and print collateral, working with printers when necessary Requirements: Recent graduate desirable Previous experience in a membership, customer service, or administrative role, preferably within a private members' club, luxury hospitality, or events environment desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse membership base.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and membership management software.
