In your first year, you will work in different departments and disciplines, exposing you to all aspects of this incredible industry.
You will gain experience in: Operationally – gaining practical skills on site with Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors.
Commercial – understanding cost control and management with the Quantity Surveying team.
Estimating – contributing to work-winning activities and modelling future projects.
Health & Safety – ensuring all stakeholders' safety and wellbeing is considered across the organisation.
During this time, you will receive training and mentorship from some of the industry's top talent, whilst also getting involved with site activities across a host of technical projects including bridge refurbishment, repairs, reconstructions, and Marine works.
Following this year of variety, you will work with the Senior Leadership team to determine which area represents the best route for your future career.
Required Experience Successful candidates will have recently graduated and be looking to start their career journey!
You will have graduated in either a Civil or Construction Engineering discipline and be ready to embark on your chosen discipline.
You will also ideally hold a full, clean UK driving licence.

As well as training, there is a competitive salary on offer starting at £28,000, which will be appraised regularly.
