Main duties of the job We are looking for an outstanding salaried GP or long term locum to join our team for 2 sessions per week on a Thursday and Fridayafternoon.Our ideal candidatewill have a special interest in Womens Health and we can support their trainingand development in this area.We are looking for a candidate who can work the specific hours and days required, please don't apply if these timings won't work for you.

Duties You will provide NHS general medicalservices to registered patients on the practice list.
You will be required to provide allcore primary care services as defined by the local CCG and NHS England requirements.
To provide clinical care topatients; this will include consultation sessions, telephone triage,correspondence, results, medication reviews and prescription signing and other clinicaladministration, safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgerymeetings and on-call (excluding out of hours).

Working with the PracticeManager and the partners to support the development,delivery and review of the surgery action plan including list growth, patientsatisfaction levels, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile andcost management.
Towork closely with the surgeryprimary health care team in delivering clinical care, including attendance atpractice team meetings.
Ensure on-going CPD to keep abreastof new clinical developments and maintainan appreciation of the commitments and requirements of the wider clinical workforce Ensure that personal mandatory and organisationally requiredtraining is up todate Ensure engagement with NHS annual strengthened appraisal, PDP production and GMC revalidation.Document and report significant events and mattersrelating to clinical governance to the clinical leador site manager.Atall times to behave as a professional clinician and act as ambassador for The PracticeYou will be requiredto undertake all other duties that may be reasonably asked of you.
Person Specification Person Specification Essential Current registration with GMC and engaged in regular clinical work An experienced doctor with GP accreditation MRCGP examination or equivalent experience Sound knowledge of the principles and values that support good medical practice Good organisational skills Will have excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to working as part of a team Will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
