Global Senior Buyer - Soft FM | £48,000 to £52,000 + excellent corporate benefits package | global £5bn turnover FTSE listed Professional Services business | Happy with remote working - in the office for key meetings (London, Birmingham, Hampshire) This is a brand new role working in the group global procurement function who have been consistently adding head count across all categories to support the growth and success of the business.
This role sits in the Soft FM category team, which could include: Food Service, Cleaning, Catering, Cleaning, Security, Waste, Grounds Maintenance and Workspace Management.
Role and responsibilities: Support the Head of Procurement - Soft FM on the organisation's largest and most complex spend areas Develop category plans and strategies to ensure alignment for the group, leveraging suppliers to support local offices Engage, manage and influence senior stakeholders to ensure buy-in, utilising strong market knowledge Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a rounded knowledge of a suppliers performance Monitor supplier risk and performance through reporting tools and business feedback On top over delivering strategic projects, ensure the business is getting the best service in line with cost efficiency Experience and requirements: Proven experience in managing the FM, Property or Real Estate categories Worked in a large scale business, ideally with some global exposure Broad indirect and corporate services category experience Ability to engage, negotiate and influence senior stakeholders Strong stakeholder management, using different approaches to type, level and maturity of relationship Analytical mindset and have strong communication skills to present ideas to the business Worked in a large and cross-functional procurement team MCIPS or studying towards CIPS is preferable
