Mothercare Global Brand are searching for a part time Global Brand Marketing Manager to join the team on a Fixed Term Contract basis.
This individual will partner with the existing Global Brand Marketing Manager to lead the global brand marketing planning process, brief and deliver seasonal plans, creative assets, franchise guidelines and measure results.
You will confidently liaise with Franchise Partners to ensure their needs are being built into the planning process and build global brand consistency.
Ensure brand guidelines and tone of voice are always maintained.ResponsibilitiesLeverage consumer insights into compelling marketing plans which drive MGB business growth and franchise partner profitabilityLead the marketing planning process across brand and product categories ensuring long and short term plans deliver the brand strategy and align with the business goalsBrief internal design and operations teams, freelancers and agency partners, on time to ensure excellent quality work is delivered per the go-to-market process and deadlinesCollaborate cross-functionally to develop inspiring, clear briefs which lead to exceptional creative development and implementation guidelinesDrive conversations with franchise partner marketing teams to better understand their consumers and business, to support and influence their marketing strategy and tacticsCollaborate cross-functionally to deliver inspiring seasonal brand events and selling tools to influence assortment planning, big bet adoption and overall order bookMeasure results and report findings, key learnings and actions to the broader businessInspire, coach and manage direct reports to build confidence, skills and innovative thinking, offering training and performance management as neededBrand custodian upholding the brand guidelines and building knowledge across the whole businessKnowledge and SkillsConsiderable experience using consumer insights and data to drive marketing planningIntegrated marketing planning across all consumer touchpoints including retail stores, ecommerce, social media and PRDemonstrable trade, franchise or distributor marketing ability, preferably on a global levelCreative and commercially minded, enjoys the art and scienceMeasuring results, reporting and action planningInspiring, empathetic and strong team managerStrong influencing ability – this role does not have DTC accountabilityExcellent communicator, who speaks and writes conciselyPlanning efficiency – good knowledge of global brands go-to-market processesExcited about our products, the brand and the potential of the businessCIM or other marketing qualification desiredBest ThingsIf you're looking for a career change, why not take your search global?
