Our client is seeking an Experienced Freight Forwarder A bit about the company… Our client is a dynamic and privately owned freight forwarder, renowned for its expertise across all modes of transport, including trailer, sea, and air.

So what does the role look like?
Manage the end-to-end freight forwarding process, including quotations, bookings, and documentation.
Collaborate with clients and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
Handle customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Resolve any operational issues that may arise throughout the shipping and logistics process.
Maintain thorough records and documentation of shipments and correspondence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, freight carriers, and other stakeholders.
Proactively identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.
So do you have what it takes?
Minimum of 3 years' experience in freight forwarding, with a solid understanding of international shipping procedures.
Proficient knowledge of customs regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong IT skills, including expertise in freight management software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and partners.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
