Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Fit Tester to join the IPC team at St George's Hospital in South West London.
We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual who genuinely has a desire to work in the speciality of Fit Testing and Infection Prevention and Control.
You must be passionate about staff and patient safety, enthusiastic about exploring new ways of working and be a team player.
We are looking for someone with good time management and organisational skills, is computer literate and is able to demonstrate autonomous working with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job The key role of the job will be undertaking fit testing for FFP3 masks to ensure staff are wearing the most suitable mask to keep them safe and maintaining electronic training records.
The post holder will also undertake a range of Infection Prevention and Control support activities with clinical staff across the Trust including training and audit.
