Generalist Adviser

About the Role Citizens Advice Southampton is an essential and much-needed charity integrated into the city of Southampton. We make a real difference to our clients.
Reporting to our Service Manager and working as part of our advice team, the Generalist Adviser will provide generalist advice on a wide number of issues. This may be via our telephone service Adviceline, email, or face to face. Advice may be given from any of our outreach locations across the city.
About You You will have excellent communication skills and experience of interviewing and advising clients to provide advice or empower them to set their own priorities. You will be used to talking to a wide range of people, be non-judgemental, and willing to work within the aims, principles, and policies of the Citizens Advice service.
