The Role As General Manager of Nucleic Acid Delivery and Strategic Partnerships, you will shape the future of Uncommon's delivery platform. This high-impact role blends scientific leadership with strategic business development, putting you at the heart of both innovation and growth. You will lead a talented team of researchers and drive key partnerships with biotech and research institutions, turning cutting-edge science into transformative applications.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Scientific Leadership: Drive the development of Uncommon's nucleic acid delivery platform with a focus on expanding its applications. Guide scientific direction and ensure our technologies achieve maximum impact and profit, ensuring we win.Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performance team of molecular biologists and chemists. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.Partnership Development: Identify and secure strategic alliances with biotech firms, pharmaceutical companies, and research institutions. Manage relationships from initiation to negotiation and execution, aiming to commercialize and expand Uncommon's platform.Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and stay abreast of industry trends in nucleic acid delivery and cellular programming. Leverage insights to shape strategy and identify opportunities for winning.Cross-functional Collaboration: Our edge lies in our drive to push cellular capabilities across disciplines.
