Job Description We have an opportunity for someone to join our team at The Everglades Hotel.
To meet and greet guests at the hotel ensuring an efficient, professional and friendly check in/ out process.

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to become part of our Hotel Reception Team.
Under the leadership of our Front Office Manager , Leanne Moore, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality.
The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out seven including weekends.
 Hours vary, but typical shift patterns include 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm.
The rate of pay for this full-time position is £22,186.00 per annum.

About The Role To be knowledgeable about the facilities and services within the hotel and the amenities and attractions in the locality.
To be aware of all hotel services and be proactive in the sale of these to guests To check in guests on arrival and check them out at the end of their stay, ensuring that the correct procedures are followed for receiving payment.
To be responsible for accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes.
To balance bank, cash, foreign currency and all transactions at the end of your shift.
To answer telephone calls from guests and external callers.
To assist guests with any reasonable request for hotel services Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution To ensure that the reception area is maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards.
Report any technical and maintenance needs To ensure the security of reception and storage areas is maintained always To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect.

Desired Criteria Reception experience ideally gained in a hotel Required Criteria Good Command of English Language Right to Work in the United Kingdom Must have previous Reception experience Must be educated to GCSE level or the equivalent with Grades A_C in English and Maths Must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills Must have a professional appearance Closing Date Monday 18th November, 2024
