Fp&A Consultant

My client is a General Insurer who are currently recruiting an Interim FP&A Accountant in their London office.
The role will largely deliver their finance planning and will require specific insurance knowledge.
The main responsibility for the role is managing the budgeting / re-forecasting activity.
This includes challenging budget holders and presenting the results to senior executive.
The presentations should allow senior executive to clearly see the composition of understand the fixed and variable elements, review the challenges made, and understand the variances between periods, plans and forecasts.
The role is client facing, with direct interaction with underwriters, department heads, and presentation to senior executives.
Effective strong relationships with those stakeholders will be essential.
Specific Responsibilities: Quarterly GAAP accounting and reporting process Budget setting and reforecasting Quarterly management information on underwriting year / Year of account.
Candidate profile: Essential: • Experience in preparing budgets • Knowledge of an insurance P&L • Insurance industry exposure
