Job Description Flexographic Printer £32,889 - £39,093 DOE Lincoln We are working with a global leader within flexible packaging solutions.
Due to growth, they are now seeking multiple flexographic printers to join their team.
Our client pride themselves on their customer-centric approach and commitment to sustainability.
Their primary focus is developing recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable packaging materials.
You will work 4 on, 4 off, with a mixture of days and nights.
The Role \n Set up and operate print machinery to optimum levels in a safe working manner.
\n Ensure that all spills are logged and cleaned immediately.
\n Deliver and sign off work in line with production orders, proactively monitoring and controlling print quality.
\n Ensure compliance with regulatory standards e.g.
BRC, ISO & A2 permit.
\n Carry out print inspections & troubleshoot issues with the printing press or print quality.
\n Seek additional guidance from colleagues in Technical and Quality when required.
\n Maintain lean manufacturing principles \n Complete all paperwork and electronic data in a timely manner.
\n Complete shift handovers \n Perform press change over and run speeds in line with KPI'S \n The Person \n Experienced Flexographic Printer – relevant Print qualifications City + Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 an advantage \n Additional qualifications e.g.
fire safety, first aid etc.
an advantage but not essential \n Good level of literacy and numeracy, preferably GCSE level in English and Maths or equivalent \n Extensive flexographic print experience, specifically with experience of solvent based inks and wide web presses \n Experience of Fischer + Krecke 16S or Bobst 20SIX CI print machines an advantage.
\n Exposure to continuous improvement techniques an advantage \n Plate mounting experience an advantage also.
\n Salary & Benefits A generous base salary of up to £39,093 is available for this role and is dependent on experience.
Overtime is regularly available and is paid at an enhanced rate.
