Join my clients dynamic global technology organisation as a Financial Systems & Reports Analyst , where you'll play a crucial role in supporting both finance and non-finance business processes through comprehensive data and reporting systems.
Role Overview: As part of the Senior Finance & IT Leadership team, you'll be working closely with our CFO to drive efficiencies through data utilisation, system improvements, and creative reporting.
This hands-on role will focus on delivering valuable financial and non-financial insights that senior management relies on to make strategic decisions.
You'll collaborate across departments, using a range of tools including Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Jet Reports, Power BI, Excel, and SQL to optimise reporting, enhance business intelligence, and provide commercial analysis.
Key Responsibilities: Systems Management : Lead and manage systems like Microsoft Dynamics NAV, SugarCRM, and Jet Reports, ensuring efficient reporting and dashboard creation.
Data Analysis : Support the financial team with P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis, as well as KPI reporting.
Financial Modelling : Create and maintain financial models for cost analysis, pricing, and inventory management.
Process Improvement : Work with department managers on non-financial reporting (service stats, help tickets) to improve business operations.
Project Support : Collaborate with IT to support systems implementation and troubleshooting.
Skills & Qualifications: Qualified/Part-Qualified Accountant (or QBE) with a commercial focus and minimum 5 years' experience in financial analysis.
Expertise in Excel and experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV) and Jet Reports .
Strong ability to present data creatively and concisely.
Proficiency in Power BI , SQL , and experience with financial reporting software.
Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting at all organisational levels, including senior management.
Preferred Skills: Experience as a super user of ERP systems.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI and SQL code creation/editing.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
