Credit Broker - M&A and Business Finance Remote / Hybrid (UK Based) About Us: Verilo is a leading business brokerage specialising in the health, medical, and wellness sectors.
We are expanding our service offering and are now seeking an experienced Credit Broker to join us and establish a new Credit Brokering division from the ground up.
This division will focus on M&A and business finance, supporting buyers in securing the funding they need for acquisitions and growth.
The Role: We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial individual to take charge of building a Credit Brokering division at Verilo.
You will be responsible for setting up and managing all aspects of the division, including developing relationships with lenders, managing client transactions, and growing a team.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a new business unit within an established company.
Key Responsibilities: - Set up and lead the credit brokering division, focusing on M&A and business finance within the health, medical, and wellness sectors.
- Develop strong relationships with lenders, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to create a broad network of funding options.
- Advise clients on financing options for business acquisitions, growth, and restructuring, tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
- Manage the end-to-end brokering process, including client onboarding, deal structuring, and securing finance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the wider Verilo team to identify opportunities for business finance support within our existing and new client base.
- Build and lead a high-performing credit brokering team as the division grows.
Key Requirements: - Proven experience in credit brokering, with a strong focus on M&A and business finance.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial products and services relevant to business finance, including acquisition finance, asset finance, and working capital solutions.
- A network of lender relationships in the UK market.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to advise and guide clients through complex financing processes.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to build a successful new division from scratch.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry compliance standards.
- A self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits: - Base salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus commission.
